Nestle Toll House Pie

Ingredients:

  • Pastry for one-crust pie
  • 2 large eggs
  • 1/2 cup all-purpose flour
  • 1/2 cup granulated sugar
  • 1/2 cup packed brown sugar
  • 3/4 cup (1 1/2 sticks) butter, softened
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
Instructions:
  • Preheat oven to 325 degrees.
  • Prepare pie shell.
  • Beat eggs with mixer on high speed until foamy. Beat in flour, granulated sugar and brown sugar. Beat in butter. Stir in chocolate chips. Spoon mixture into pie shell.
  • Bake for 55-60 minutes or until knife inserted halfway between edge and center comes out clean. Cool on wire rack. Serve warm with ice cream, if desired.
**To reheat, bake at 350 degrees for about 15 minutes.

Funny - I never knew you had this blog too. I guess when I checked your profile ages ago you didn't :-) I love this Recipe. Mine calls for 1/2 C Walnuts and I love the addition. In fact I served this tonight when we had a friend over.
